"The Atheist Who Didn't Exist"

We're seeing a bit of light at the end of the tunnel regarding the situation I blogged on last time. Meanwhile I'd like to give props for this item by longtime Tekton reader Andy Bannister, The Atheist Who Didn't Exist. (No, it's not John Loftus!) Read a sample chapter at the link.

  1. hey JP, I was wondering what you think of francis watson's claim that luke and mark present a contradiction in their accounts of healing the bind man near jericho?

"A contradiction arises when one factual assertion is exclusive of another. Jesus is said to have bestowed sight on a blind man both as he approached the city of Jericho (Lk. 18.35) and as he left it (Mk 10.46). "

    1. Watson is an idiot who doesn't understand how ancient literature works. My harmonization series answers that kind of thing.

  2. JPH. I can tell you as one who read this book that this is one of the best introductory apologetics books I have ever read.
